Eleonora Vagnoni, PhD
I am currently a Lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University and visiting scholar at the University of Cambridge. Before joining ARU I did postdoctoral research at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIIT) in Genoa, Italy, and at University College London (UCL).
I did my PhD at Birkbeck, University of London, under the supervision of Prof. Matthew R. Longo.
My interests include the effect of emotion on our perceptual systems, how shared multisensory experiences change the distinction between self and other and how the representation of the space around our body changes in dangerous and social situations.
My work combines psychophysics and neuroimaging (e.g., EEG and TMS) techniques in order to define the behavioural and neural correlates of these phenomena.
I am currently the module leader of Language and Thought (level 6) and I am contributing to several modules at ARU.
